A very special day!

{very special indeed!}

Just when I thought wedding season was wrapping up for the summer there was one more...and it was AMAZING (just like the couple themselves)! Noel is a close friend with the biggest heart you can find and a contagious laugh that can make anyone smile and her now husband (yippeeee!) is SO wonderful as well. The couple shares their love for the Lord and their love for one another with all those they meet. My goal was to create for them something that would fit both their personalities and style.
See the final product below.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Richards!

Speaking of love, weddings, amazing couples and special days, I want to give a BIG shout out to my sister and best friend, Kari and her husband, Steven as they celebrate 7 years of marriage today! Congrats crazy love birds!
I love you both with all my heart!!

As a gift for their anniversary, Kari and I collaborated to make a framed work of art using the lyrics from their first dance song at their wedding. Listen to their song here. What do you think? Cute and so sweet, right?!

Congrats again you two! Here's to a lifetime of love together...

XOXO

We're back!

{well kinda}

Let me explain...there have been some big changes (including the look of our blog)! As our crazy summers full of work, weddings and whatever wind down we settle in different places. As you may or may not have read in the about section here, Kari and I started designing about a year ago this time and got off to a great start! We have been busy designing for friends, family and our own homes and it has only gotten busier. Here comes the "kinda" part...

Back in April Kim's husband was given a promotion at work (way to go hubs!). The only catch was we were relocated to Kansas City, MO.
See the beautiful city below!

The move went pretty smoothly and we are settling in well. It is a HUGE adjustment from Oregon but a good one. The people are very friendly and I don't mind the heat...too much!

Speaking of changes, Kari is also adjusting to her new way of life as well. Today was her oldest son (Joseph's) first day of kindergarten! {Sniffle sniffle} Would you look at those sweet faces! With this will bring homework and hopefully a little more time for projects she has been eagerly waiting to do.

Needless to say, you never know where life will take you or where the time goes, but doing it with the ones you love the most is the best thing in the world! Kari and I will continue pursuing our vinyl adventure from a distance and hope that you will join us and follow along!
